411 shock absorbers

Dear Forum,

Can anybody recommend replacement shock absorbers for my 411(IV)?

Spax, Konis ?

Many thanks,

Pat.

Most any top brand will do, and most make what you need or can fashion them for you. If your Bristol is quite old, you may have the old lever dampers in which case they can be rebuilt. If newer, they are tubular. I would try Koni, KYB and others, but these are considered the best. All the best.

411 Shock absorbers

If you contact John Lawley at BODA he can give you details of how to get some shocks from Gaz which are valved for the 411. Warwick Banks also has contacts of someone who can supply Koni's as many do not know the correct valve settings

I like the Gaz ones that ACCS sell - adjustable without tools on the car !
