Default Bristol 411 Wheels

Hi,

Does anyone out there happen to know the pitch circle diameter and the
back spacing for the wheels on a Bristol Series 2 411?

The reason I would like to know is that I would quite like to put wire
wheels on the Bristol.

MWS ( www.mwsint.com) produce a 6.5x 15 wire wheel (model XW791) which
fits XJ Jags from1968 on. It has a 5 stud bolt-on kit. The PCD is
120.65 mm and the rim backspace is 127.00mm. I think it might just fit
the Bristol but I'm not sure.

I have never seen a 411 with wire wheels and I think it would look great
and suit the "sports" saloon character of the car.

Any information gratefully received,

Tim.

Is think the PCD is 112 as that is what the 408 is. E series Merc's and some Audi's share this size. Maybe looking for wire wheels that fit a Mercedes will help.

The PCD of the 411 is NOT 112mm like the 408 and earlier types .
It is the same a Jaguar XJ of the 70's, I'm not sure of the imperial
measurement , but definitely not metric.

The PCD is exact 5 X 120.65mm. Thats the information on the boxes with
5 new Blenheim wheels, specially made by Bristol for my 411 S5. The size
of the wheels are 7 X 15.

Michael, 120.65 mm is 4.75in , that sounds correct.

Thanks
Geoff
