Smile Winterburn CDI installation on 408

I have ordered a Winterburn unit from Fred Winterburn in Canada. Fitting should be very easy but I need identify the type of tacho (Smiths RVI?) and locate the tacho wiring so i can install a bridge rectifier. Fred has advised that the tacho won't work without the bridge which is simple once I have found the wires etc.

Has anyone fitted one of these to a 408 Mk1......or similar. I suspect not but I thought I'd ask just in case someone could help.

Many thanks

Ian.

I think there is a wiring diagram for the 408 in the resources section as I remember seeing a previous post with this attached.

Thank you. I only had a black and white one in a manual that didn't specify the model it referred to so this will be very handy.
