Default Bristol 410 rear suspension

Hello,
I have decided to replace the Metalastick bushes on my Bristol 410. My question is, can the rear suspension arm shaft be drawn out from the suspension arm, once the nuts are removed without further dismantling of the rear suspension? The shaft will need to be drawn out towards the rear of the car because of the arm from the rear suspension unit. I hope this make sense of what I am trying to say.

My problem has been solved following a conversation with another Bristol owner, the only way to remove the suspension arm shaft is to reduce the tension on the torsion bar to the suspension unit and with a little bit of fiddling around remove the shaft from the arm, in fact the whole procedure was about 30 minutes per side including replacing the struts.
