Default 411 turn indicator switch

Does any one know of other cars that have exactly the same indicator switch as the 411. There are a number about including Morris 1100 and MGB Mk 2 that I believe can be adapted . None of these have the same 7 wire plug, There must surely be some other car using the same product. A lucas part number would be a big help.

The 411 switch has 3 functions

1 Turn indicator
2 Horn
3 Head Light Flasher

Any assistance much appreciated

Try Lucas 13H7779
That's the one with the plug rather than bullet connectors - but I'd have a look at one before committing if I were you

Default 411 turn indicator

I purchased one of those and when it arrived its a perfect fit but has 2 extra wires for the high and low beam headlights. The 411 has a floor mounter hi low switch. Three choices

1/ Change the car wiring to remove the floor switch and utilize the new switch.

2/ Accept that there is movement in the switch between hi and low that does nothing.

3/ Find the correct 7 wire switch.

Ill probably run with 1/

Default Turn indicator lever

Hello,

I believe our 1970 Ford Cortina GT had those three functions in the lever. You had to press the end of the lever for the horn, and the “handle” moved down the rod 1/2” and then returned to full length. Not a button, in other words.

I think the car also had some Smith gauges, so maybe Smith made the part.
Unless the gauges were by Lucas. Only 48 years later, but I’m already starting to forget some details.

Here’s a link I found that may help track it down. It seems to be from a parts book, but it’s incomplete.

Default 411 turn indicator

Thank you for that .I checked the diagram but the switch and mounting system is incompatible with the Bristol. I am fitting the switch listed below but would still be interested as to what switch was original used on the 411
