Can anyone help with the correct gas strut dimensions and Nm settings for the Fighters, Bonnet, Doors and hatch?.

Ken, if you can't find this information, a good gas strut (gas spring) manufacturers should be able to tell you how to take the measurements they require to make new struts for you. I take it the original struts don't have any markings on them? They often have a little label with the Nm setting.

I did this some time ago for a V8 Aston bonnet, but it was in Australia so not much point in mentioning the company who made them for me.

This is what they wanted from me;

Length of your gas strut? _____mm
(Measure from the middle of the end to the middle of the other end when fully open)

Diameter of your gas strut shaft? _____mm
(Measure across the shaft that goes in and out)

Strut ends? ______
(Plastic, Metal, Ball Cups, Clevis & Pin)

The weight of the door at the anchor points of the struts. (Use bathroom scales and a stick, place the stick at the anchor point of the door in the open position)

Hi Kevin, thanks for your reply to my post, I'll have to try and sneak the wife's scales out of the bathroom without her seeing me, but as I haven't had any SAS training that could be a difficult task.

Many thanks,
Ken
