403 Boot Lid seal

Does anyone have a source for the rubber extrusion used for the seal on the boot lid of a 403? I'm guessing the 401 seal would be the same as well. I have managed to find supplies of all the other rubber extrusions for the 403, but this one has beaten me. I still have what came off the car - it's sort of P shaped, but solid, and it's kind of tapered rather than a real P shape. One side is flat, the other has the taper. I've already trawled the COH Baines and Phoenix Trim catalogues with no success. Overall height is 3/4". The thickest part is about 2/3 the way up and is about 1/4" thick. I don't want to cut the old one to photograph the cross-section, in case I have to put it back in!

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Have you checked with Bill Lawson as he has a range of rubber for the older cars?

Yes - thanks for asking, but Bill has been my source of some of the other rubber seals and he was not able to help with the boot seal.

To close out this thread, Graeme Payne was able to supply the boot lid seal from the ex Bristol Cars stock.
