Bristol Bottle Opener

I wonder how many people have closely observed the boot catch of the
Bristol 403. It is perfectly shaped to remove the crown cap from a bottle
of beer.

In my youth I was no better than I should have been and when not dicing
with death or chasing young women I was drinking. Often combining all
three. We rapidly discovered that the open boot of the 403 provided a
sheltered seat from which to observe motor racing, polo, paint drying,
whatever.... as long as there were some bottles behind us and that useful
catch above.
